![]() Literally 100's of iOS Music Production apps, the usual suspects and pretty much every major release since 2015.Ī quick word on app pricing, since I was just mulling this over this morning when I bought the DDMF stereo compressor and had serious sticker shock ($32 is still $32 you know? Especially now.) Some kick-ass! Lol).Īuria Pro is my main DAW but I do find myself using Cubasis 3 a lot lately, especially if recording with virtual instruments or drum machines first. Mics are AudioTechnica AT2020, Rode NT2A, Shure SM57's and several cheaper "Amazon" mics (condenser mics bought at ridiculous prices, $5-$25, etc. I monitor on Mackie CR3 monitors and Sony MDR-7506 phones. I have a 25 key Novation Launchkey controller and an 88 key Casio MIDI controller. I'm using an Air 3 256GB with a Tascam US-2x2 interface and a Behringer UMC404HD 4in/out interface. Thankfully no one is driving so I can do car tests if I need to □□ I should get a sound monitor (larger speakers) but I haven't been in the right state to get it. ![]() Headphone: Still using the Behringer headphone, but also have an old school Bose headphone with a bluetooth speaker I use for sound reference. Oh, I also have a bass, electric acoustic, and an old Casio keyboard. Else, I'd get the Novation Launchkey and give away the Akai to someone who needs it. If I was to get an additional controller, I'm possibly looking at the Sensel Morph with an iPad Pro, but only if Apple releases Xcode and Logic on iPad OS. The Akai does work well, and I like the color scheme so, I've made my peace. I would have got the Novation Launchkey 3 but it wasn't out when the Akai came out. Also, I use a lot of stock effects in Garageband. I use a lot of stock sounds nowadays and add an additional synth for some extra spice.Įffects: My go to effects are Blackhole Reverb by Eventide, Zero Reverb by Blamsoft, Wider by Infected Mushroom, Brusfri, and Attack Softener by Blue Mangoo. Weird.I have used Firo, Reslice, Koala Sampler, TONALY, Nanostudio 2, and Gadget 2 a lot more though. I would have said Groovebox, Blocs Wave, and Launchpad but I haven't produced with them in over 3 weeks.
